Monday
No time to take pictures today so you are getting some moldy oldies from some other years.
I think these flowers went north to Michigan. Seems like Doug is in the car.Another Monday to add to the total Monday's. There have been many. It once was wash day during the BIG war. Now it's the day that follows Sunday. Wash day is Friday at this house for sure and some other days once in a while.
Same old rocks but the flowers were certainly in a better place last Oct. No lack of rain I imagine.Today started with finishing the Umoja contributions and then moving them on to Angela who is in charge of the silent auction . Done, Finished, Over.
Oh yes. Lantana certainly are butterfly livers. I'll try to remember that.Home for a smidgen of time and then it was off to Living Strong at the Y just a bit late. In all the in between times all day I worked on more burps. There was good sharing of the latest cancer procedures at the Y and just how everyone was feeling. Then off to the machine room learning what to do with the machines. Well, most of them. Then I did another 20 minutes on the ellipse machine, one of my favorites.
Yes, this was in the neighbor's yard. I need to take a walk with Stella. And would I be surprised to find a free parking place right in front of Goodwill. I took it and found a sheet to use with some already purchased flannel. I bought it. 4 bucks is a good deal. It's not a good deal when 4 bucks are roaming the yard. That's for sure.
Last year, Adam was getting ready for the ACL operation. He's still rehabbing his knee. High School soccer was really over for sure.It was back home again a bit after 12 with more burp work. At 2 the car took me to IU North again to meet with my vascular doctor. That outcome was good. And another check- up appointment was made for next year.
More burps and then dinner with the North group at McAlister's. Now that's a super way to end the day. Well, not quite at the end. Monday night in America is FOOTBALL. I'm loving this more and more. There seems to be no politics involved. I need to hunt out those exceptions.
It seems I was doing the same thing last year. Improving the stone flowerbed edges. How soon I forget. The day was cloudy and the temperatures in the low 70's. I left my sweater at home knowing that soon that will not be the case. I checked a few boxes in the garden but failed to add anything today to the B Blues.
And there were pumpkin pictures from the Michigan Kids.It was a great day that I took at an easy pace knowing that there were miles to go before I sleep. Tomorrow is a work morning at church putting away all the stations of prayer. My hope is that it will be a short work time of perhaps an hour or so. Three of us will be putting the prayer stations to bed.
