Saturday

I would label today as a lazy crazy Saturday.  But mostly lazy.  Another great night of sleep and then up with breakfast and all the usual things that push the morning into being.  It was mostly a knitting day.  I finished a scarf last night and didn't start another one until this morning.  These skeins are a bit smaller, and today I learned I can get two scarves from each skein. My guess had been one and a half.

I did a trip to H.L. for a second skein and picked up two other colors.  I checked out ordering online and the HL stuff through Amazon does not come with a 30% discount.  I guess H L prefers folks to shop in the store. So, I'm set with yarn for maybe two months.  So, there was knitting and football which was great because I U was showing toughness again today with another win.  So far, it's been a super year.  Michigan can say the same.

I pulled the garden cart out of the garage with the hope there would be more drying hours available for the cannas.  It's been windy today, so the temperature didn't feel very warm.  It did look like rain although not predicted so Doug pulled everything back into the garage.  Better to be safe than sorry. I guess cannas can dry there as well.

I deliberated about a walk around the block.  Finally, after one try, the second try was successful. It was warmer than I expected.  The last street to walk was a sweaty one.   The return to the chair was welcomed and the knitting continued as well as the football.

I would call this a sleepy quiet day at this house.  The scarf stash is getting a bit taller but adding more is the goal.  All is well, all is well.
