Tuesday

I chose what I thought was a file of winter pictures of a few years ago.  I guess it's not winter.

Another early morning.  It is what it is.  So, today it was rise and shine a little before 6.  There was breakfast and some TV morning stuff continuing with knitting until I stopped when the scarf told me it was half done.

This is why a dad wants strong sons.  So they can get a free ride.

I moved on to burps, put 20 together and then sewed the first go around. I managed to turn them all right side out but then left them to finish on another day.  That took care of the whole morning. They are time consumers.

Rita asked me how I get the ends with such a beautiful curve.  I told her I make a line to follow tracing around a bowl.  But making almost 2000 burps with each burp getting four rounded ends sewn. Multiply 2000 by 4.  There are a whole lot of rounding the ends that need to happen.  If I haven't learned how to round, there is something wrong.

Still looking for those winter pictures. I guess looking out the window will do.

The patio was in the process of icing over from drips off the roof, so I did a little of the Michigan Upper Peninsula thing.  Clear a little snow off the roof. They have special tools. I had a rake.  Many houses in the UP have steep roofs.  That's a big help with snow slides during the winter.

I decided to go directly to spring.  There will be bulbs in a new place in a couple of months.

There was lunch and then a trip south to the Y for the usual two things.  And when I returned there was a vanilla protein drink with strawberries added. There was a little more TV, time for supper and another uber was sent to pick up Eric.

I would say there is nothing new under the sun so it seems.  It was a little warmer today but in a couple of days the cold returns but hopefully not for long.
