Saturday
Another good start to the day with my yummy yogurt, almonds, blueberries and coffee and the TV. But not for long. It was back to the beloved sweat shop with burps. That's the go to when the need to do something else comes along. It was the last 10 of the next 100. They will be in my closet until nearer Christmas. Some of the burps are Christmas themed. There was additional ripping, then folding and finally ironing where need. The pipeline is filled again with additional work ready willing and able to become more burps. Starting on another 100 leads to the next 100 a total equaling 2500 burps.
I worked on a sign to advertise the No Kings event of the day. Joining a big group even though it is outside is not going to happen. But I had an idea up my sleeve. It's that germ thing and the energy thing that will keep me close to home.
Then another late morning in the garden after the warmup. I noticed next week will bring some 50 temperature highs. I think I'll be inside for sure. Then the temperature prediction is back to the 60's. The hedge clippers came out again and I worked on another area where ivy is deep and needs to be trimmed.
Another great trim that should last till late spring or longer.A few ornamental grass clumps bit the dirt. The B Blues are stuffed. I'm thinking about taking up an offer of borrowing from the neighbors. There is more ornamental grass to clip.
Seen on our afternoon walk. Falling leaves song goes with this picture.
The fall allergy season really hit today. I'm not sure why but the pollen count for weeds must have been very high. Later in the day a huge rainstorm came through which should help my nose. The rain should continue into tomorrow. Woo. It's been a while since we had a drop of rain.
Gina and I celebrated the No Kings event in the afternoon. We walked the neighborhood and had a blast with JP Susa music from the iPhone marching us right along. We stopped along the way with friends inviting them to join us. Our parade marchers numbered a good 4 good members. Me, Stella, Gina and Wyland. We need a better organizer. Cars passed with waves coming our way. Our friends that went downtown Indy reported a lot of fun. It was a great day for the country.
Wyland thought the turtle toy was his. No siree doggie. I had to give it to Stella to hide. It was tied on the sign which didn't work at all.The rest of the day was used to fill the energy tank. It was pretty empty but for a good cause with a lot of laughing and neighborhood visiting. It was a memory maker.
You guys are, by far, the COOLEST four person parade! You definitely win BESTof SHOW!🏆
