Saturday

First.  We were fortunate to be at the Meijer's Gardens when a Chihuly special showing of beautiful glass was exhibited.  There are some perminate displays but the special exhibit will be there until November.  Today you will see some of what we saw.

I woke up this morning with my mind set on resting.  Woo.  Yesterday was a full day and doing a lot of nothing this morning was the message buzzing in my ear.

My descriptive words.  Big cubes of glacier ice creating their own piled together sculpture.

I did make a garden run but nothing happened.  It was just a run...no slow walk come to think of it.  It was a bit cloudy and later on there was lightening and thunder.  After a very long pause of at least 15 minutes the rain came.  It felt a bit like camping weather.  And after another long pause there was even more rain.  So I'm happy to say that eliminated another job that would not have been a lot of nothing.

I checked the TV options making sure I was tuned at the right time to the right channel for the late afternoon soccer game.

This was found in the Japanese gardens lake.

There was lunch and the feeling a bit like something had to happen, I set off to shop at Goodwill.  Doug got a shirt he liked.  I found some flannel sheets for winter sewing along with a new pair of Skecher shoes.  I would call it a successful trip.  The washing machine is helping to get the fabric ready for their next step toward burps some time in the future.

.                                            A small part of the ceiling decoration.
We had a wonderful lunch in this space.

I spent some time running the sweeper where it was needed and then it was back to the chair for soccer and a protein drink since I needed a huge boost with so much shopping.  Right?  Maybe but maybe not. I just needed a boost.

T            There was an outside Chihuly display as well as an indoor.  We chose the outdoor treats.

That sort of takes care of the rest of the day with two more teams going home.
