Tuesday
Today started a little slow and I just made an effort to keep it that way starting with all the things that start the day.
The first Tipsy on the second Tipsy plant. Just a little softer in color.I made it to the garden wondering if critters ate the tomatoes. They didn't. One more ripe tomato made into the house. Then the morning work was a little bit of a lot of things. The late coming sunflowers and Mexican sunflowers got a good drink of water and the weed that were around them disappeared. I'm not watering weeds for sure. The flowers usually are late comers making themselves noticeable for late summer and fall.
A morning visitor.I did dead heading where needed which wasn't a whole lot of work since I looked with scissors every past morning. The herb garden sweet pea got a little attention with dead stuff trimmed out making it a manageable plant. There were more Dahlias ready for tying. Most of the plants look very healthy with three still having bunny nibbling's evident. The garden didn't take much time because it just didn't need it. Things are looking full and pretty.
I dug up 10 tiny red bud trees moving them to a big pot that eventually will be moved to Jared/Kimmy farm. That is if the trees are determined to stay alive. Our back yard red bud tree has been prolific. They will get kid glove treatment in the next months.
The afternoon once again was soccer time with Argentina pulling off a win of 3 to 2 all Arg. points coming during the last 10 minutes of the game. There are always surprises to be had.
There were phone calls working toward the Endoscopy but the date is still to be determined. There were a few pain pills yesterday but nothing today. I think I'm progressing right along to I don't know what yet. Right now I'm O K with that. Medicine is a practice and there sure is a lot of practicing that finally makes the body work. I double checked appointment on the calendar making sure they showed up on my iPhone calendar. There were a lot of holes. Not any more.
One last look at the Holly Hocks. They bring back so many memories. One sitting on the stone steps at home turning Holly Hocks into pretty girls.A yummy garden salad with green grapes and chunky tomatoes made the supper menu.. One of my favorites. I've switched to oil and vinegar dressing. Better that Mayo when it comes to fat. It was a rather quiet Tuesday. I could have spruced it up but why do that on a lazy crazy day in summer.
Switzerland won in a shoot out. I didn't watch!
