It's Monday!

 On to something new this morning with that car ride out of Indiana.  There will be strange little round hills in northern Kentucky, horse farms in Tenn as well as a mountain ride, and other seasonal changes along the way.  I love the window ride.  The bags are packed.  Some things went to the car last night and the rest will be packed this morning.  Russell family time is coming.  It's been two years since we saw Doug's two brothers.  Rick will arrive from Dallas on Tuesday.  There will be lots to talk about.  I'm sure that the Michigan grandsons have changed a whole lot for their uncles to take note  Their 2-year of growth is impressive even for their grandma.  There should be nine of us together for the week.  Michigan family arrives Wed.  Dee, Brother, Father Cassion will be with us more this visit only sleeping at the big house and eating all his meals with us.  yahoo!   Love it..  He will quarantine after we leave Sunday.  Covid has not invaded the monastery. All have received Boosters as well.  We all are vaccinated 

The computer will go with us hoping to get some things corrected by our tech Kimmy.  Look for pictures from the monastery.  There should be a few.  We will stop in southern Tenn or maybe even northern Ga. tonight.  Then on to Conyers for the last lap and back with lots of southern friends made over our years of visits.

    Family Guest House is clean and waiting! PUBLIX is well-stocked for the Russell Thanksgiving scavenging (family members armed with lists for their scavenger hunt)!

This time I hope I'm back for a very long time.  The computer with pictures is finally a go and all the excitement of Sunday is over.   I don't know if I've recovered yet.  There are a few more days before the next Sunday.   For those few who don't know it was another hospital stay of a couple of days.  And it all started in the pew at church with a pass out  seizure type of thing. I think something to do with high sugar perhaps.  The whole service came to a halt for a while.  How embarrassing with a carry out by the good old EMTS.   Lots of tests I guess.  I don't remember a thing until Sunday evening with a trip into a scan machine.  I got released Tuesday and today I visited my primary care doctor for answers and I'm pretty well satisfied.  Two days in bed have really made me wobbly so I'm pretty careful about moving around.  It should get better soon.  I won't be driving for a while because of the seizure.  That's a huge bummer.  The seizure medi

 A day that's been a little slow.  I guess that's OK now and then.   The morning included a yucky bird feeder clean out.  I got tired of looking at it and it was almost empty so there was my chance.  The blue bird was seen often and the pair of red bellied wood peckers enjoyed the suet.  I saw on facebook a guard that is easy to put together to keep sparrows out of the blue bird house.  It's worth a try made with wire and fishing filaments and fishing weights.  I need a wire cutter first.                                                                    For a while both Mr. and Mrs. were visiting.  Then it was to the sewing machine.  The day produced three bags.  I need to get the collection on their way to Michigan.  I made a couple for the Carmel grandsons.  The pace was slowed with a finger cut with the rotary cutter.  What a bleeder I produced.  I will say this is the first slash I gave myself in more than ? years of sewing.  I think it's time for a fresh dressing

Kimmy did it again.  She guided me to the spot where now there is a change made in the blog settings  allowing comments.  If you had a google account you could do that already.  At least  that's what I think I'm reading.  So comment away when you want to.  Will be fun.                             I'm looking forward to a whole bunch of different zinnias this summer.   Finger report.  It's doing fine with a major clean up today. One reason for no butterfly but a small club is to pad the site.  Typing is improving.  The day brought more sewing with four more bags completed and one waiting for velcro which should arrive tomorrow via Amazon.  Another package of D rings should be included to finish up a few cover ups.  It's been a busy sewing season with some new challenges that keep the sewing room interesting.  I must dig through my fabric for more options.   Lots of meal worms are disappearing again.  Most of the time it's because the pair of Blue Birds are having
