Frosty winds may blow.

 Yes, another song some will recognize.  Not Kathleen's favorite. It's 19 degrees this morning.  Let's get winter over with.  My goodness, patience is lacking this morning.  I'm very happy to report that the knees are back to their happy self.  Woo...what a lesson that will be forgotten as all the others have been.  That hole in the head remains there even with surgery that fixed one of them.  I should have asked for a two for the price of one deal.  

The electronic machine continues not to alert PT James that I've been OKed for PT.  Two different doctors have flunked electronics.  Today I'm asking to transport the order myself.  It's a visit to the same building for my annual visit to my Sleep Apnea CPap doctor, Dr. Yang.  On the way home, James will get the order.  At least that's the plan I'm willing to try.  I am not giving up!  Some days are like this even in Australia.  So says Alexander of my children's book reading days. He persevered and I will also.

We're feeding lots of birds and MR. SQUIRREL also but we haven't seen this little buddy this winter.  Wishing him well with the hope he finds a comfortable place to find shelter.  I'll look for footprints when the snow comes.  This little guy has such an interesting white mark on his forehead, with a white band around his neck, a bit different than his companion which disappeared during the summer months.  

I reported to the Michigan family that their temperature was also 19 this morning.  Grandson Adam reported WARM.  He's the one who wears shorts all winter.  There could be a hole in his head as well?  Just like his grandmother?  Heredity?  So sorry Adam.  

Even though they live near the thumb of Michigan's mitten, their winter temperatures are similar.  It would appear that what we have usually moves on up to Midland in some form.

    Isaac said they had to stay inside for recess because it was too cold outside today. I didnt even realize it was cold haha. Ya that Adam, he must have a hole in his head. I get cold just looking at him haha

This time I hope I'm back for a very long time.  The computer with pictures is finally a go and all the excitement of Sunday is over.   I don't know if I've recovered yet.  There are a few more days before the next Sunday.   For those few who don't know it was another hospital stay of a couple of days.  And it all started in the pew at church with a pass out  seizure type of thing. I think something to do with high sugar perhaps.  The whole service came to a halt for a while.  How embarrassing with a carry out by the good old EMTS.   Lots of tests I guess.  I don't remember a thing until Sunday evening with a trip into a scan machine.  I got released Tuesday and today I visited my primary care doctor for answers and I'm pretty well satisfied.  Two days in bed have really made me wobbly so I'm pretty careful about moving around.  It should get better soon.  I won't be driving for a while because of the seizure.  That's a huge bummer.  The seizure medi

 A day that's been a little slow.  I guess that's OK now and then.   The morning included a yucky bird feeder clean out.  I got tired of looking at it and it was almost empty so there was my chance.  The blue bird was seen often and the pair of red bellied wood peckers enjoyed the suet.  I saw on facebook a guard that is easy to put together to keep sparrows out of the blue bird house.  It's worth a try made with wire and fishing filaments and fishing weights.  I need a wire cutter first.                                                                    For a while both Mr. and Mrs. were visiting.  Then it was to the sewing machine.  The day produced three bags.  I need to get the collection on their way to Michigan.  I made a couple for the Carmel grandsons.  The pace was slowed with a finger cut with the rotary cutter.  What a bleeder I produced.  I will say this is the first slash I gave myself in more than ? years of sewing.  I think it's time for a fresh dressing

Kimmy did it again.  She guided me to the spot where now there is a change made in the blog settings  allowing comments.  If you had a google account you could do that already.  At least  that's what I think I'm reading.  So comment away when you want to.  Will be fun.                             I'm looking forward to a whole bunch of different zinnias this summer.   Finger report.  It's doing fine with a major clean up today. One reason for no butterfly but a small club is to pad the site.  Typing is improving.  The day brought more sewing with four more bags completed and one waiting for velcro which should arrive tomorrow via Amazon.  Another package of D rings should be included to finish up a few cover ups.  It's been a busy sewing season with some new challenges that keep the sewing room interesting.  I must dig through my fabric for more options.   Lots of meal worms are disappearing again.  Most of the time it's because the pair of Blue Birds are having
