Mid Week.

The news of the day as I know it at this hour is that the outside house skin will continue at a slow pace of change.  Two guys are supposed to be working but one is sick and that really makes a difference.  It's cutting and measuring, climbing ladders, and fitting pieces of siding around windows and more.  This picture is one day's work for one person. It's much better to be slow and right than fast and not right.  Two more big sides to do and then the area above the car garage door.  Tomorrow is a guaranteed rain day so the finish date is not clear.  There were some pauses yesterday that resulted in some new decisions with gutter color. We moved from black to white again.   It's a work in progress.  

 
Today we will shop for a new outdoor garage light.  We'll join the neighbors on lights to shine at night. There are plenty and I like them all.  

No ice in the birdbath.  Woo, woo just a little warmer, and the morning is showing promise of light earlier and earlier.   Just keep it coming.  This early bird looks forward to more daylight.

Kimmy did it again.  She guided me to the spot where now there is a change made in the blog settings  allowing comments.  If you had a google account you could do that already.  At least  that's what I think I'm reading.  So comment away when you want to.  Will be fun.                             I'm looking forward to a whole bunch of different zinnias this summer.   Finger report.  It's doing fine with a major clean up today. Wed. I'm back Thanks be to God!

This time I hope I'm back for a very long time.  The computer with pictures is finally a go and all the excitement of Sunday is over.   I don't know if I've recovered yet.  There are a few more days before the next Sunday.   For those few who don't know it was another hospital stay of a couple of days.  And it all started in the pew at church with a pass out  seizure type of thing. I think something to do with high sugar perhaps.  The whole service came to a halt for a while.  How embarrassing with a carry out by the good old EMTS.   Lots of tests I guess.  I don't remember a thing until Sunday evening with a trip into a scan machine.  I got released Tuesday and today I visited my primary care doctor for answers and I'm pretty well satisfied.  Two days in bed have really made me wobbly so I'm pretty careful about moving around.  It should get better soon.  I won't be driving for a while because of the seizure.  That's a huge bummer.  The seizure medi

Saturday.

 Today was the every other Saturday for Soup Kitchen work at church.  But before that I was up at 6 with breakfast and a little sewing time.  By 8 I was on my way to church to be at the door when Tosha would be arriving.  Sarah Ellen is in Italy for the week.  One person short makes a whole lot of difference when the soup kitchen crew is at it's usually small size.  Jack arrived earlier than usual so that was a big help and the new Cindy crew of two more folks made work time even easier.  Sometimes I feel like it's a guess who is coming to work now added to the guess who is coming to lunch.  The crowd wasn't as large as usual.  We just never know.  I say it's a crap shot not to be figured out!                                                I hope to have a lot of these orange cosmos this summer.   The morning work flew along.  I talked with Heidi about my ideas for Easter decorations.  The Easter banners are back at church and a few more decisions have been made.  Easte
