The Sun is Shining, Oh, Happy Day.
Mr. Sun can put me in the best mood. I welcome that friend. So the glow is here for most of the day. It's a gift. Today was another Bread and Bowl morning. I stopped at the Nora Bagel shop. It's a bakery that makes bagels in the New York style. That means the dough gets boiled in the process of turning into a bagel. It completes the process in the oven. Yum, yum. There is nothing quite like a New York style bagel. Heidi and James talk alot about New York style bagels susprised that they are available here. This morning they started their Bread and Bowl morning with that kind of bagel. I told the shop keeper she should sell the smell. The morning's work went well. We had great workers and even had a bit of time to pull banners and more from the closet that support the next season of the church year, the season of Lent. I love seeing all the grand viberant purples against the gray stone of the church. Tomorrow we will do a bit of decorating after service and then Heidi and I will return Monday to finish out all the nitches of the church.
We had a whole lot of donated food today so the folks who came to church for a carry out meal or two had a variety of choices to take home. We filled a who,le lot of tummies. This afternoon a bit of listening to the troubles of the world, a bit of escape to basketball and a bit of reading. It's time to revitolize the body after a busy morning of being with friends, making a difference in the space where I live
Garden walking is a bit difficult because of soggy ground but I'm seeing crocus buds ready to open. This morning as usual I woke really early, and decided to check on a new light we had hung outside over the garage door. I had neglected that light and wanted to see how it was working. Well in doing that I discovered seven deer out walking the neighborhood. Seven!!! My goodness the goal will continue to plant only things deer find unsavery so we can live together in peace. The garden should continue to have it's interesting moments later in the year. I'm so impatient, Come on SPRIMG
