Awesome

Yesterday's vist with Ronnie Bell and his church folks was just the best thing in a long time. Of course he was surprised to see us meeting us at the door as we arrived 30 minutes before church. His office window faced the parking lot allowing him to check us out before we checked him out! What a guy. We had time to look around at a lot of nooks and crannies before church. It's a wonderful facility that provides ministry to the neighborhood. Ronnie's members were so appreciative when talking about his involvement in programing. That's the Ronnie that I know as well. He's coaching basketball teams and is in the building when ever it is open which is a whole lot. Ronnie is involved! His members spoke often of his committment. The rest of the afternoon involved feeding the birds and watching a whole lot of basketball along with checking for any update on Ukraine. Today will be pretty simple. The plan is to stop by I U North again and pick up a new C Pap machine. Then I'll stop at Lowe's to get two palm plants for Palm Sunday. I need to go to church to send an order in for Soup Kitchen food delivery. We are really low or OUT of some vegetables. This will be another big shippment arriving this week. I might do that this morning getting some of the running around out of the way early. I'm always trying to keep things simple but sometimes that just doesn't work so well.

    Challenge those grandsons with the job -- or better yet, Kimmy.
    Sorry to hear about the bundt cake flop.
    I had high hopes of becoming a taster for this delight.
    Glad God's creatures were the recipients.
    Hope they can fly after all that richness invades their delicate systems.

Kimmy did it again.  She guided me to the spot where now there is a change made in the blog settings  allowing comments.  If you had a google account you could do that already.  At least  that's what I think I'm reading.  So comment away when you want to.  Will be fun.                             I'm looking forward to a whole bunch of different zinnias this summer.   Finger report.  It's doing fine with a major clean up today. Wed. I'm back Thanks be to God!

This time I hope I'm back for a very long time.  The computer with pictures is finally a go and all the excitement of Sunday is over.   I don't know if I've recovered yet.  There are a few more days before the next Sunday.   For those few who don't know it was another hospital stay of a couple of days.  And it all started in the pew at church with a pass out  seizure type of thing. I think something to do with high sugar perhaps.  The whole service came to a halt for a while.  How embarrassing with a carry out by the good old EMTS.   Lots of tests I guess.  I don't remember a thing until Sunday evening with a trip into a scan machine.  I got released Tuesday and today I visited my primary care doctor for answers and I'm pretty well satisfied.  Two days in bed have really made me wobbly so I'm pretty careful about moving around.  It should get better soon.  I won't be driving for a while because of the seizure.  That's a huge bummer.  The seizure medi

Saturday.

 Today was the every other Saturday for Soup Kitchen work at church.  But before that I was up at 6 with breakfast and a little sewing time.  By 8 I was on my way to church to be at the door when Tosha would be arriving.  Sarah Ellen is in Italy for the week.  One person short makes a whole lot of difference when the soup kitchen crew is at it's usually small size.  Jack arrived earlier than usual so that was a big help and the new Cindy crew of two more folks made work time even easier.  Sometimes I feel like it's a guess who is coming to work now added to the guess who is coming to lunch.  The crowd wasn't as large as usual.  We just never know.  I say it's a crap shot not to be figured out!                                                I hope to have a lot of these orange cosmos this summer.   The morning work flew along.  I talked with Heidi about my ideas for Easter decorations.  The Easter banners are back at church and a few more decisions have been made.  Easte
