Sunday, Sunday.

Woke up this morning with my mind...stayed on Jesus.  We sang that at church on a Sunday morning years ago. That Sunday was followed by a Monday morning breast biopsy.  That one proved to be a shorter walk through a medical procedure.  But what a foundational song to remember when greeting the day.  So today was church day to boot!  Doug and I sang again in the summer choir.  We'll be in Michigan for three weekends camping so those will be a bit different.  Good Church with Mark also singing a wonderful solo for us to God.  Almighty God

Early Sunday morning with the scissors and a whole lot of fun putting this together.

Lunch and then a long visit with my sister Mary K.  It's been a while since we've talked and there was lot to say and lots of picture sharing.

A  tiny little zinnia dressed in a very suttle pink.  So delicate.

Being out of ice cream is like having no air to breathe.  That made a necessary trip to the store for my kind of ice cream and Doug's kind of ice cream.  I'll eat anything.  It just needs to be easy to swallow.  I've never met an ice cream that didn't qualify but that with low butter fat suits me the best.  Doug likes a little more than I do.  So two kinds of ice cream and then a few odds and ends.

These little gifts just keep on giving.                                                                                    Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer true.  I'm half crazy seeing you in my yard.

A little weeding, very little, a little deadheading, very little with a whole lot of enjoyable walks, a whole lot of them that ended the day.

                                                                Almighty God

Who filled the sky with radiant stars to glorify the night?                                                                        Who knows the path that leads up to the dwelling place of light?                                                                Creator, Yahweh, Holiness, Sustainer of my soul.                                                                                        God reigns in golden splendor: Almighty God.

Who used the words to lay out the foundations of the earth?                                                                 Who sent this Son so all, born dead, could have a second birth?                                                      Jehovah, Parent, mighty God, Sustainer of my soul.                                                                                  God reigns in golden splendor: Almighty God.

God's excellent in power, all creation speaks God's majesty.                                                             Jehovah, Parent, mighty God, Sustainer of my soul.                                                                              God reigns in golden splendor, the heavens filled with wonder,                                                              God purchased my forever: Almighty God.

Many thanks to Mark Gagillon for this morning's worship moment in music.
