Sunday

We were up first with the family sleeping in, slowly emerging from the back of the house.  Little by little the attendance account said all was sort of ready for church.  We followed to the Midland Free Methodist Church.  A church well grounded in a great welcoming tradition.

Kimmy had a pop tart for breakfast.  Wyatt knows the crackle of pop tart wrapping and is asking for a bit by putting his paw on Kimmy's arm. Smart dog..If he wants a good rub down he does the same.

Three pizzas disappeared in almost a wink of the eye.

Back home and the job of packing the car was completed.  Lunch arrived with carried-in Pizza, another well-traveled tradition accompanied by the preferred Tim Allen and Tool Time entertainment while eating.  The kids found a wonderful rerun show when shows were good.  They all agreed.

Doug, Adam, Jacob, Lela and Eli Russell It's time to leave.  Boo Hoo.

People pictures were taken again and the car left the driveway with two grandparents who felt entertained like royalty.  300 miles of the rubber hitting the road and we pulled into 10420.around  6:45.  Doug did the washing. The bags were unpacked and we are home to take up living in the city of Carmel again with memories of busy kids and even busier parents doing what good parents do. That is supporting their kids growing into fine adults.

One more chicken picture.  I just could not help myself.
