Tuesday
Up early and ready to go although the other person living with me wasn't so we didn't. But after his breakfast and the paper we left the house around 9. At 3:45 we were pulling into the Michigan Russells driveway. The drive north was a good one with beautiful weather and lots to see.
Zinnia everywhere doing their best work. The first eye candy was the flowerbeds that we worked on in the spring. Woo. big plants and beautiful colors. Jared arrived home later in the afternoon and we walked the garden, saw the new tractor, and counted sheep.
The cleome are at least 6 ft tall.Once again the grandsons had lots to do. Around 5 Eli had a soccer practice and Jacob had two hours of band practice. Adam had a soccer accident couple of days ago/ While playing a team he was knocked to the ground by a ball hitting him in the face. He still is experiencing headaches, able to go to school but needs to take a game brake until his headaches stop.
One little frog sitting on the log. Jared dug this pond a few years ago. The boys have had great fun summers and winters playing in this part of the yard.We ate supper with Jalapeno Peppers stuffed with cream cheese and wrapped with bacon smeared with barbacue sauce, yum, yum and a few other things.
and watched a bit of TV. A first day with the Michigan Russells. I'm ready for more.
