Wednesday all day!

The morning started early with the boys getting ready for school. Eli goes to Meridian Jr. High and Adam to Midland High School Jacob is taking classes online so his day starts with studying at home and then a 1:30 trip to Meridian H. S. for band practice.  Jacob is in a program earning college credits.  It takes a two-car family to get everyone to where they should be.  I'm impressed.

A beautiful pink sedum doing it's best to outshine those close by.

Eventually, the parents returned home and we did a lot of talking and planting more plants we brought from our garden.  We fluffed the garden and did some trimming to freshen up the look that was getting out of control. It happens this time of year.

Adam needed a shirt made inviting his best friend to homecoming activities.

It took three of us to make it happen.

The flowerbeds are filled with big healthy plants that are at their best this time of year.

Lunch happened and we heard from Adam that his headaches were continuing from the soccer incident. School was not a pleasant place to be when not feeling well.

A few from the kitchen.  A beautiful sight.

Jared made the afternoon run collecting everyone from school.  It was determined that Adam needed an in-depth evaluation concerning his headaches which happened.  Now we know there is a concussion that needs to be dealt with meaning some home time giving his brain a chance to heal.  No soccer playing until that happens.  He will miss at least 3 game, one being tonight which we were going to attend.  Best laid plans have gone.... Flexibility is the best plan. Next year maybe.

Jared did a major mowing with his John Deer.  The effects are commendable.

Supper with barbecued chicken on the grill and Tool Time TV. Jacob and Jared traveled to Bay City for Jacobs weekly private clarinet lesson. I'm quite aware that moving three boys to their activities is two full-time jobs.

While mowing this afternoon Jared found a bunny nest.  Eli is holding one bunny but plans to let it go later this evening.  Wild bunnies just don't do well out of their habitat.
