Church Day. Sunday.

It was one of those Sunday mornings that has become simple and easy.  I'm enjoying it more than ever.  Easy up.  This morning I was on the sewing machine with 2 bibs finished in little time.  When all the needs are piled up waiting to sew, it's a fast track to sew on the button.  That's the last thing before FINISHED!

I think I'll need another jar of JoAnn buttons before this saga is over.

We were off to church at 10:15 arriving about 20 minutes later. Good mornings were spoken to a few folks at the west entrance and then I was off to find my pew.  It was a meaningful morning.  The sermon was from Matthew.  The music...outstanding as usual.  O Clap your Hands...Rutter and then a negro spiritual with Kate singing the solo part.  Woo...She filled my head and heart with music.

I gave Jenny a big bag of bibs and a few burp cloths.  More are coming.  I think there were 30 bibs.  She was excited, to say the least, sharing them with the nurses on her team assigned mothers and babies to walk alongside until their second birthday. Jenny was grateful and will make sure the two valentine bibs make their way to a new home this week.

                                                        The fabulous five for Sunday.

In the afternoon I added three more bibs to the two of the morning. Total 5 for the day.  Total 69 for the current project.  I still love doing them and thinking and praying for the children who will wear them.  I pray these families will have enough food to eat, mothers filled with patience, and a warm place to live with a meaningful job..

This is Super Bowl Sunday as we all know and the evening was spent with the boys.  It certainly was a fun game to watch.  There was always something happening.

No backsliding for brother-in-law Rick today.  That really made it a SUPER Sunday.  .
