Just a three bib Wed.

Another early morning...This time 3.  Crazy.  I seem to be able to function during the day so I'm not stewing about it.  Great morning with a litttle of this and that.  I mozied into the sewing room around 8:30.  Crossword was easy.  Wordle ???It's evening and I'm still thinking.

A pumplin over the hill has provided a midnight snack for some creature for a few nights.  I suspect an opossum,

I've been treating toenail fungus for almost 3 months with pills.  Today I learned about the next step in treatment.  The doctor prescribed some expensive salve. One kind cost 60$.  One kind cost 600$.   He prescribed the 60 dollar bargin?  I hope I'm worth it.  This crud is stubborn for sure.  The doctor thought they both worked about the same.   I'll be back to see him in three months.

Then it was off to the hardware store for a lawn rake.  Can you believe our rake is 55 years old and has lost at least half of its raking ability?  Time for a new one.  I found a metal one rather than one of those plastic ones.  I hope that's a good choice.  I don't plan to wear the next on out. The new one looks like it could last another 55 years.

                                                                    A rake well worn!

Back home and I started looking for more jonquils which led to clippers, yard container and a whole lot of snipping at the Lenten Roses.  They are coming on strong although I really thinned them out last year.  The asparagus has been cut down and I was surprised with a wonderful find of crocus blooming.. So there has been dirt under my nails and just a few sore muscles which I hope will feel better by night because I stopped before night!  The fresh air was wonderful.  There's a blue container full ready for the garbage.  Same old same old and Jared would say.

What you saw a couple of days ago was a picture from acouple of years ago.  Today's picture is today!                                                                                What a gift.

An added bonus while working outside was hearing and seeing the Sandhill Cranes flying overhead I think they were delighted with warmer temperatures.  They hung around for hours, honking away keeping me company.  How nice.  Some spend their summers in the Midland Mi. area.  When migrating they are so high it's difficult to see them but one can hear them for sure.

Bib count for the day 3.  I swapped 2 bibs for a Colt's rug.  It was one of those unexpected visits from a guy who really wanted to visit the neighbor.  So we made a deal.  He has bibs for his grand children one 2 months old and the other one coming Feb. 17th.   I have a rug now in front of the kitchen sink!
