Thursday

 Up early and off to church to deliver clams with labels for food serving today at Bread and Bowl.  I picked up more clams for Rita to label later.  Then back home after saying hello to the Thursday Crew! 

I made it a point to get one PT session in before I went to see Sophia.  Improvements are coming along.  The stairs are not so painful and I hope to keep it that way.  We worked on balancing which is just hard.  I'm flopping all over the place with just about everything she has me do. Lunch after a lot of hard work was what I needed.  Then the crossword was completed.  

The sewing machine just came on once for two burp cloths for Kenzie.  Chickens.  She has the free range kind. 


I called Rita asking her if she felt like a ride to see the tree colors.  She said yes and we were off for what I thought would be an hour but turned into a couple more than I had planned.  Cool Creek park got a ride through and then we were off to Zionsville.  We stopped at the Mamlins to get labels for the clams preparing them for Bread and Bowl.  Rita will attach them to the clams, all three hundred.  I delivered 150 clams this morning.  We use 150 almost every week. 

              There are a few decent hostas that I'll use with grasses for altar arrangements on Sunday.  


We had a great time seeing the sights and cruised through Hoosier Village for a while.  It's just amazing how big that place is now.  Lots and lots of new development completed and much more to come.  A lot of,big trees were in the process of being taken out with probably even more development in the future.  

                            Interesting changes developing.  There's a different carpet each day.

It was good to get back home.  Supper was stuffed peppers with more card playing and an evening of catching up on the world.

This time I hope I'm back for a very long time.  The computer with pictures is finally a go and all the excitement of Sunday is over.   I don't know if I've recovered yet.  There are a few more days before the next Sunday.   For those few who don't know it was another hospital stay of a couple of days.  And it all started in the pew at church with a pass out  seizure type of thing. I think something to do with high sugar perhaps.  The whole service came to a halt for a while.  How embarrassing with a carry out by the good old EMTS.   Lots of tests I guess.  I don't remember a thing until Sunday evening with a trip into a scan machine.  I got released Tuesday and today I visited my primary care doctor for answers and I'm pretty well satisfied.  Two days in bed have really made me wobbly so I'm pretty careful about moving around.  It should get better soon.  I won't be driving for a while because of the seizure.  That's a huge bummer.  The seizure medi

 A day that's been a little slow.  I guess that's OK now and then.   The morning included a yucky bird feeder clean out.  I got tired of looking at it and it was almost empty so there was my chance.  The blue bird was seen often and the pair of red bellied wood peckers enjoyed the suet.  I saw on facebook a guard that is easy to put together to keep sparrows out of the blue bird house.  It's worth a try made with wire and fishing filaments and fishing weights.  I need a wire cutter first.                                                                    For a while both Mr. and Mrs. were visiting.  Then it was to the sewing machine.  The day produced three bags.  I need to get the collection on their way to Michigan.  I made a couple for the Carmel grandsons.  The pace was slowed with a finger cut with the rotary cutter.  What a bleeder I produced.  I will say this is the first slash I gave myself in more than ? years of sewing.  I think it's time for a fresh dressing

Kimmy did it again.  She guided me to the spot where now there is a change made in the blog settings  allowing comments.  If you had a google account you could do that already.  At least  that's what I think I'm reading.  So comment away when you want to.  Will be fun.                             I'm looking forward to a whole bunch of different zinnias this summer.   Finger report.  It's doing fine with a major clean up today. One reason for no butterfly but a small club is to pad the site.  Typing is improving.  The day brought more sewing with four more bags completed and one waiting for velcro which should arrive tomorrow via Amazon.  Another package of D rings should be included to finish up a few cover ups.  It's been a busy sewing season with some new challenges that keep the sewing room interesting.  I must dig through my fabric for more options.   Lots of meal worms are disappearing again.  Most of the time it's because the pair of Blue Birds are having
