Thursday.

 Another sewing morning.  I love them.  The music was the Messiah along with background noise from the machine.  A great combination that gives me a whole lot of energy to stick with the project.  There now are a total of 55 new baby things for Goodwill.  I feel good about repurposing fabric that now has a new life.  

More spaces to fill in the container.  The next 50 will add up to 400 burps for babies.  B and B I could call the project.  

Mid afternoon we hit the road again ending up at the Y. adding 15 minutes to the 45 minutes yesterday.  I wanted a mile walk and made it with a few other things added.  The afternoon time is perfect with not so many people to cope with.  I call it the old people's hour or so. Moms are home getting their kids off the bus.  Guys who worked out before work are still at work.The group that comes in after work and later are still not in attendance. It's perfect for us. Today we hit some North Central High School traffic so a little earlier should make life a bit easier   We'll try 2 PM to 3 PM. Today I walked to a whole lot of Bach.  Life is great! 

Supper was chicken vegetable again.  I added some potatoes with garlic and onion spice.  Delicious. 


 

A phone call from Jared has determined that our Christmas Family days will be December 28, 29 and 30.  Happy to know when I'll need to get the baking and freezing completed. And I'll need to start shopping for gift certificates etc. I've really been lazy this year.

Kimmy did it again.  She guided me to the spot where now there is a change made in the blog settings  allowing comments.  If you had a google account you could do that already.  At least  that's what I think I'm reading.  So comment away when you want to.  Will be fun.                             I'm looking forward to a whole bunch of different zinnias this summer.   Finger report.  It's doing fine with a major clean up today. Wed. I'm back Thanks be to God!

This time I hope I'm back for a very long time.  The computer with pictures is finally a go and all the excitement of Sunday is over.   I don't know if I've recovered yet.  There are a few more days before the next Sunday.   For those few who don't know it was another hospital stay of a couple of days.  And it all started in the pew at church with a pass out  seizure type of thing. I think something to do with high sugar perhaps.  The whole service came to a halt for a while.  How embarrassing with a carry out by the good old EMTS.   Lots of tests I guess.  I don't remember a thing until Sunday evening with a trip into a scan machine.  I got released Tuesday and today I visited my primary care doctor for answers and I'm pretty well satisfied.  Two days in bed have really made me wobbly so I'm pretty careful about moving around.  It should get better soon.  I won't be driving for a while because of the seizure.  That's a huge bummer.  The seizure medi

Saturday.

 Today was the every other Saturday for Soup Kitchen work at church.  But before that I was up at 6 with breakfast and a little sewing time.  By 8 I was on my way to church to be at the door when Tosha would be arriving.  Sarah Ellen is in Italy for the week.  One person short makes a whole lot of difference when the soup kitchen crew is at it's usually small size.  Jack arrived earlier than usual so that was a big help and the new Cindy crew of two more folks made work time even easier.  Sometimes I feel like it's a guess who is coming to work now added to the guess who is coming to lunch.  The crowd wasn't as large as usual.  We just never know.  I say it's a crap shot not to be figured out!                                                I hope to have a lot of these orange cosmos this summer.   The morning work flew along.  I talked with Heidi about my ideas for Easter decorations.  The Easter banners are back at church and a few more decisions have been made.  Easte
