Friday.

 Another great work day.  Wordle yes, connections NO!  I started the day a little slow but it did pick up.  I looked up the cover-up site online and decided that there was a problem with what I was doing.  It would have been great if I could have seen a ready-made example.  But I didn't have one and the feedback that I had asked for didn't come.  The work isn't a complete flop but the next cover-ups will be corrected.  I orientated the cover-up with the 28-inch edge as the top and not the 36-inch.  The 36-inch edge should have been the top..  It is certainly an easy change but darn...I wish I had caught on before 80 cover-ups were sent on their way. 

            Tis the brown season.  Our Georgia pine needles seem to be in good shape.  Memories! 

I was a bit miffed when I made the cover-up discoverIy so I decided it was burp time.  I added 10 more to the stash and 30 more will get me to 500 for the year 23 and 24.  I'm in no hurry knowing that I've provided a heap of burps.  I just took my Prilosec!!!  Let's see if it works.  

Twenty days till Lent.  I found the first hint of what will be many flowers beginning to show themselves on the Lenten Roses.  They never disappoint. 

Slowly but surely I got back to the cover-ups making the change on the next bunch of fabric.  Not a big change for me but I wish I had caught that mess up sooner.  

            Some sweet baby jonquils peeking out from underneath.  They have been in this spot for years. 

Then it was on to the kitchen working up gr. beef and sausage into some good-looking little meatloaves.  My rainy day stash should keep us going for a while.  Maybe I should say my snowy day.

I did a little walk around since the temperature was in the 40's.  I uncovered a few things and just being outside was more enjoyable than I had remembered. 

This is the second year for these jonquils.  Another bed planted last fall is not shwing anything yet.  


Don't mistake these meatloaves for meatballs.  They really are quite large so I call them meatloaves.  

Hamburgers for supper and an evening of TV, Blogging and a little work in the sewing room.  I call this a good day even with the hiccup with the cover-ups.

Kimmy did it again.  She guided me to the spot where now there is a change made in the blog settings  allowing comments.  If you had a google account you could do that already.  At least  that's what I think I'm reading.  So comment away when you want to.  Will be fun.                             I'm looking forward to a whole bunch of different zinnias this summer.   Finger report.  It's doing fine with a major clean up today. Wed. I'm back Thanks be to God!

This time I hope I'm back for a very long time.  The computer with pictures is finally a go and all the excitement of Sunday is over.   I don't know if I've recovered yet.  There are a few more days before the next Sunday.   For those few who don't know it was another hospital stay of a couple of days.  And it all started in the pew at church with a pass out  seizure type of thing. I think something to do with high sugar perhaps.  The whole service came to a halt for a while.  How embarrassing with a carry out by the good old EMTS.   Lots of tests I guess.  I don't remember a thing until Sunday evening with a trip into a scan machine.  I got released Tuesday and today I visited my primary care doctor for answers and I'm pretty well satisfied.  Two days in bed have really made me wobbly so I'm pretty careful about moving around.  It should get better soon.  I won't be driving for a while because of the seizure.  That's a huge bummer.  The seizure medi

Saturday.

 Today was the every other Saturday for Soup Kitchen work at church.  But before that I was up at 6 with breakfast and a little sewing time.  By 8 I was on my way to church to be at the door when Tosha would be arriving.  Sarah Ellen is in Italy for the week.  One person short makes a whole lot of difference when the soup kitchen crew is at it's usually small size.  Jack arrived earlier than usual so that was a big help and the new Cindy crew of two more folks made work time even easier.  Sometimes I feel like it's a guess who is coming to work now added to the guess who is coming to lunch.  The crowd wasn't as large as usual.  We just never know.  I say it's a crap shot not to be figured out!                                                I hope to have a lot of these orange cosmos this summer.   The morning work flew along.  I talked with Heidi about my ideas for Easter decorations.  The Easter banners are back at church and a few more decisions have been made.  Easte
