Wednesday.

 Today's goal was to work on some of the 12 cover-ups.  And today the sewing machine was in a snit.  I declare that sometimes the devil is living in the machine.  The tension for the bobbin thread was out of wack.  So I rethreaded the machine more than once.  No good response.  So letting it all sit for a while the decision was to take the machine to the machine doctor.  

How lucky have I been all these years with the machine fixit man just south on Keystone at 73rd Street just about 4 miles away.  So into the car with the beast and south to 73rd street.  Another good session and conversation reminders on how to do a couple of things that I had forgotten.  I scheduled a complete check and the first date available is in May. The last checkover was years ago.  Taking care of my friend is important.  I call my Pfaff my mental health buddy. These repair guys are just the best. 

                                All the parts are finished.  Tomorrow I'll see these 12 completed. 

                        

So back home 12 of the 12 cover-ups were hemmed.  That's it for the day.  And the stitches were right where they should be.  More to do tomorrow.

A second trip out came when I went to Kohls to pay a Christmas Bill.  Doug has had great difficulty paying this online.  The only time I use Kohls's is at Christmas for socks for everyone.  I went to the store to pay this bill and that process was more than difficult there.  Corporate America is crazy.  Phone calls and more phone calls resolved accepting the payment but there is more I need to do. 

Woo.  I was happy to be home and sewing again!  

I took Andrew to work at Needlers and bought supper.  Kat had another session with PT.  She is getting some relief from pain resulting from a pesky shin injury.

                            Kat's Pot Pie and some fresh sweet and sour cabbage salad. Easy Peezie.

The Michigan /Purdue basketball game is tonight.  Should be fun to watch but I'm not sure where I can see it.  Wish me luck. It's a 9 o'clock game.

Kimmy did it again.  She guided me to the spot where now there is a change made in the blog settings  allowing comments.  If you had a google account you could do that already.  At least  that's what I think I'm reading.  So comment away when you want to.  Will be fun.                             I'm looking forward to a whole bunch of different zinnias this summer.   Finger report.  It's doing fine with a major clean up today. Wed. I'm back Thanks be to God!

This time I hope I'm back for a very long time.  The computer with pictures is finally a go and all the excitement of Sunday is over.   I don't know if I've recovered yet.  There are a few more days before the next Sunday.   For those few who don't know it was another hospital stay of a couple of days.  And it all started in the pew at church with a pass out  seizure type of thing. I think something to do with high sugar perhaps.  The whole service came to a halt for a while.  How embarrassing with a carry out by the good old EMTS.   Lots of tests I guess.  I don't remember a thing until Sunday evening with a trip into a scan machine.  I got released Tuesday and today I visited my primary care doctor for answers and I'm pretty well satisfied.  Two days in bed have really made me wobbly so I'm pretty careful about moving around.  It should get better soon.  I won't be driving for a while because of the seizure.  That's a huge bummer.  The seizure medi

 Today was the every other Saturday for Soup Kitchen work at church.  But before that I was up at 6 with breakfast and a little sewing time.  By 8 I was on my way to church to be at the door when Tosha would be arriving.  Sarah Ellen is in Italy for the week.  One person short makes a whole lot of difference when the soup kitchen crew is at it's usually small size.  Jack arrived earlier than usual so that was a big help and the new Cindy crew of two more folks made work time even easier.  Sometimes I feel like it's a guess who is coming to work now added to the guess who is coming to lunch.  The crowd wasn't as large as usual.  We just never know.  I say it's a crap shot not to be figured out!                                                I hope to have a lot of these orange cosmos this summer.   The morning work flew along.  I talked with Heidi about my ideas for Easter decorations.  The Easter banners are back at church and a few more decisions have been made.  Easte
