Monday
It was another rise and shine morning a little earlier than I had hoped for but as you all know it happens. Today was the last day of three weeks taking my wonderful poison pills. That meant it was time to order more and that happened much easier than I thought it would. So, there will be a break of a week and then it starts again. I'm getting in the grove and happy to do that. Out, out dam spot! Who said that first?
These little ladies are coming on strong. The biggie for the day was a trip to church to meet with Darren and Heidi to set some things in cement perhaps about the October 13th worship service. So, after a quiet morning we made it to our 12 PM meeting.
The service has elements of carrying for the earth and Darren likes to plan ahead which is a very good habit. The service will involve adults and children in different areas during the service. Visuals will be included and so we worked out details that should make the service flow smoothly. An absolute must happen thing for Darren. That's another thing the congregants appreciate.
Not one zinnia left in the garden and those in the house are fading fast. After we were finished with that meeting, I worked with Heidi, once again going through new things that should help her when I no longer am helping her. Becoming more comfortable with all visual arts happenings is the goal. We hung new banners. Found some visuals for Worldwide Communion Sunday. Dressed the communion table and pulpit with fabrics from Kenya and stored some items in their rightful storing place. Darren will wear a stole made from the same Keny fabric.
So it was a busy time again at church. The afternoon was an easy time with a snooze of course. There was a short visit to Eric Galloway's house just down the road to talk about participation in the Creation Care Sunday. We got a few things nailed down.
It won't be long now. A few more B B's and I'll call it finished.I spent some time in the garden continuing the cleanup. I started with looking for pictures and then noticed that what really needed help was digging stuff out for the BB's tomorrow. I might have over done it when I realized that two were full and the third one was half way there with Doug still needing to clear the yard from the storm. I may have primed the pump for next week.
These two are stuffed to the Max. I might need to borrow a neighbors.
The evening was Football in America until it all went away when I fell asleep. Another great day of living.
