Wednesday
This entry won't be very long because not much happened.
We survived last night's debate with today hearing about it all over again.
`````````````` This one became bird food. They like zinnia seeds even more than I do.
I took ALL my pills this morning including the one for allergies. I slept a lot today. Tomorrow I'll either skip the allergy one or perhaps take a half pill. I'll figure it out in the morning. My head was much better today. After thinking a bit about this I usually have something ugly in the spring and usually it works itself out pretty quickly. Let's hope that happens sooner than later.
Mr., Blue Bird is back after a long AWOL. This is a blurry picture. I don't think he's a seed eater.Yes. I slept a lot this morning and afternoon, but I did do some watering and then pulling the hose back out of the way of the mowers. Woo...wore me out. And before all that Stella and I walked the block again. This afternoon I pushed myself to have something to show for the day which meant sewing. I ran out of thread so that something to show sort of fizzled. Kat put in a thread order again for me and it should arrive in the morning. I do have some colored thread so I might continue to sew this evening. But then maybe not. The Fever play tonight. It's either one or the other.
I have a few fairy things that sit on the artist fungus that hangs from a very old maple tree. The squirrels can nock my fairy stuff to the ground. Currently the fairy has flown the coop. She could be hiding under one of the plants at the base of the tree or she might have been kidnapped. I'll keep looking for her. Fingers crossed that I find her. These little birds are hiding in a piliated woodpecker's hole.Supper was delicious veg. soup via Rita and Bob. I got the watermelon out to cut it and the inside was all water with the red fruit just a whole lot of mush. I've never seen this before, so it was a big surprise. What a bummer when my mouth was ready for watermelon. I put it out for the animals to have a party tonight. We'll see how that goes.
More Zinnias.And as I have said the evening will be full of the Fever. I'm sure there will be more to hear on Fox and MSNBC and CNN about last night's debacle.
A pot of sage surrounds my little Sage.
