Thursday

Today was a Molasses Day.  What does that tell you?  I hope it says slow.  Life just seemed a little slow and not moving very fast today.  So that lasted for a while.  At some point I said enough.  Time is up.  The oven timer is buzzing.  The alarm clock is alarming.  You get the drift.  I need to get moving.

I moved to the sewing room and did a whole lot of cutting preparing for marking and sewing you know what.  So, there are stacks waiting for the next step but I'm not sure when that happens.  It certainly didn't today.  Maybe tomorrow.  That took up most of the morning.

For some reason I forgot to take a picture of a Trump sign.  I'm sure you all know what they look like.                                                                              No reminder needed.

Doug talked voting again, so we gave it a try with arriving about an hour before the doors opened.  We were the second car in the parking lot.  I had Stella with us which helped a whole lot.  So, we were pretty much at the front of the Thursday afternoon line.  By the time the doors opened the line was very long and the parking lot was full to the max.  The deed is done till spring.

The end of the line was not in sight.  The weather could not have been better. This voting place was in one of Carmel's parks called Founders Park.  It's just lovely.

I did a little more seed snipping and weed digging but not much.  I had a Boost watching the birds. Maybe that's a boost times two.  The Molasses feeling returned in the afternoon and I had a great chair nap.  It never surprises me, and I hope it doesn't surprise you.

Supper got fixed again with hashbrowns and a hamburger.  And tonight, once again Thursday night football.  If memory serves me well I'll probably see a smidgen and miss a whole lot.

Another good day even if the Molasses wasn't flowing so quickly.
