Tuesday
I took it easy this morning with a little knitting and TV. Same old same old someone I know well would say. Yes. I agree. The morning ended with a good Uro PT. but I'm signed up for more sessions, the result of an office visit Friday not PT gone a bit sideways. Someone should have done better. Sometimes things just don't end like they should. So, I'll see Roe again in April. She's gone for a vacation to Alaska tomorrow. Ice castle hiking, dog sledding a trip to the artic circle, hope of seeing the Northern Lights and more other cold weather stuff. That kind of vacation blows my mind. I'll be happy to hear about it in April.
I did more knitting and finished the girl baby blanket. It's so cute.
I did more thinking about a request I got from Ginny some time ago. That request was blankets for Goodwill babies. She talked a bit more about that last week and I discovered what she wanted was simple blanks to lay on the floor. A place for babies to stretch and roll. I had many quilts for my boys. So much simpler an idea than I had thought.
I decided on an interesting front with a flannel backing would do the job. Off to Nora Goodwill where things are the cheapest looking for interesting child related sheets. I found some and with all the flannel that has accumulated, I'm in business again with something new. There won't be as many because I'm making the quilts 28 by 36. If Ginny wants them smaller maybe I could make more. I like the size I have decided on.
Sort of an Easy Peasy project.Doug did a drug run. Thank goodness nothing was for me. Supper was chicken veg. soup with fresh parsley from the herb garden that held over from last year. Snipping it made me a little wet. Yes, the rain is here again supplying the plants with a drink and keeping me in the house.
Another quiet evening. There was ladies ball last night and the Pacers won. When I'm awake I'll be watching NIT games.
