I'm a little late tonight.  The computer had a big bug in it and my debugging skills are not so hot.  So I messed with it one more time and I'm having just a little luck.  Just a little.  It's 10:59 so I'm going tobed


Not everything is working yet but there is a smidgen.  Maybe by tomorrow morning this little machine will be fine again.  But everything is OK with me.  It's just this little black box that's not doing what it should.  

I'll give you one picture.  Well, I guess I won't. The gremlin living in this computer said NO!   I made a gourd bird house for my friend Angela.  She has done so much for the Umoja Project in Western Kenya and I though she earned at least 50 bird houses.  But today I gave her one for her back yard.  She lives in Cool Creek here in Carmel. I think she moves her house every time I need to visit her.  Today I just had a good laugh but finally found the corner her house is now occupying at least for now.. I think it's a big joke.  

So another good day with a lot happening.  Tomorrow it's church work morning and then I've got to get at the windows.  I'll start with the four in the living room.  LR

 Another great celebration with family with a few little twists as sometimes families can produce.  But celebrate we did with lots of food and lots of card games and just lots of everything that makes memories.  We're tired and glad to say the celebration as good as it was, is over for another year.  And we're looking forward to seeing what a year from now brings.  Today was a day of picking up the pieces to move into busy December. Red sails in the morning, Sailors take warning.   The warning sign was miss thinking about a wonderful day with a gorgeous sunrise, but it turned into anything but wonderful. And after yesterday's blog entry, what was hoped to be a good week had a dismal beginning.  Jared called to tell us that Sunday evening Wyatt, their beautiful red poodle stopped eating and by three in the morning of Monday as Jared was driving to Lancing to the Vet at Michigan State, Wyatt died.  Wyatt was one wonderful dog in every sense of the word.  Smart, friendly, protective with absolute understanding about so many things.  Today and the days ahead will be days of mourning eventually becoming times of reflections about all the good that Wyatt brought to us.  His camping chair is now sitting in our living room reminding us of that goodness he gifted us.  After hearing about this event, I took a walk outside to clear my head and heart and found the first of many crocus bl...

Amazing Saturday

 For many reasons it has been an amazing day.  One to remember as long as memory allows me.   Once again sleep did not stick with me, so I was once again out of bed around 1 last night.  I thought of checking the IU Portal for whatever it was going to tell me.  And it did a lot of talking about the scan that happened Wednesday.  The Easter portal news is that all cancer related things seem to be pretty stable with even some slight improvement in one area. Ever so slight but that still is great news.  So. for now, I feel like the stone has been rolled away and new life is with me.  Thanks be to God.  So back to bed and I slept till 6.  I'll take it with Thanksgiving.  Breakfast came and the clock proved it was time to leave for Church to get a jump on Easter visuals before the crew arrived.                 New members Hannah and Andrew working in the chapel with the lamb and...
