Wednesday
Woo. A chilly morning. The furnace is on, and I shut and locked another window that I left cracked a few days ago. Not anymore. Long sleeves and warm socks are the attire for the morning. I might be at the beginning of what I call the cold season. No hard frost yet but we're getting closer by the day.
The morning was full of sewing and sneezing. I was thinking of something in the environment, thinking outdoors. Then another option was something in the environment that was fabric related. I'm thinking more the latter right now. Woo. I used a lot of tissues with my eyes using their drainage system many times.
Then at eleven it was off to the Stratford where one of our groups of four teachers now lives. We had a great lunch with a whole lot of talk. There was a visit to the new apartment, which was huge with a fireplace burning, lots of storage space, three baths and three bedrooms, dining room and kitchen. Woo. it was big.
There was another visit with a couple from church living in another apartment at the Stratford. More talk with a lot of laughing. And on the way home a short stop at Aldi's to get us through to the weekend at least. I unpacked everything and then took to the chair falling asleep until it was time to think supper. I didn't think farther than the container of soup in the refrigerator which was plenty for both of us.
The entertainment for the evening was another baseball game with the series tied up 2 and 2.
