Monday

It's been an easy day.  That is if you can stay home.  The snow yesterday was accompanied today with some cold wind from the NORTH!  Someone left the door open.  It was a brutal attack on the body systems.  \

The day started as usual, but I did leave the morning paper at the street.  I'm not bringing it in unless there is no chance of falling. This morning it was necessary to walk through a sloppy mess. He reads the paper so it's his responsibility. There's a tough momma at this house.

I did sweep off the patio and filled some bird seed containers. The peanuts were a bit sparce along with the suet.  I must admit the birds were few and far between.  At this rate the food will last a very long time.

Yesterday while identifying items needed to be removed from the church attic, it was suggested that all those items needed to be identified on paper as well as suggested display areas.  So, time was spent this morning recording that information.  Also, there was a suggested time frame for the November work written.

I worked on knitting as you might imagine with another one and done added to the basket in the afternoon.

It was a Monday Y morning with only two of us showing up with the teacher. I will admit the snow was a bit nasty so to speak. There was a lot of talk time and then we were off to the machine room getting more help with seat movement and adjusting the weights on the machines that worked for us.  By the time we left at noon, the room was filled with guys working out on their lunch hour.  My favorite time at the Y is afternoon when they are all back at their jobs and the mothers are home waiting for their school children and it's old people's time.  There is just too much going on including the noise that goes with dropping weights when more folks are at the Y.  I hate all that unexpected noise.

I meant to stop at Aldi's on the way home but forgot so that made the afternoon real easy concerning the baking/cooking projects for Georgia.  Tomorrow is another day. Maybe I won't forget. I'll be on the road getting a haircut so I'll stretch that away from home time.

Today's afternoon saw more knitting and TV watching and staying warm. I was successful at all that I managed to do.

The supper hour once again was at McAlister's with the North Church Gang. That is always a great break in our supper routine.  Then the evening with another football game, this time with Philly and the Packers happened.  It can't get much better for me. I'm hoping for a good Green Bay outcome at Lambo Field.
