Tuesday
First...there is no photo shop. I'm not saying the angle was not part of the picture. But the under the arm thing was real. I think that picture is a hoot.
So now for today. The first part of the morning was the same. Quiet breakfast, a little snow going on, paper retrieved and a little knitting happening.
Then it was off to church for a work morning with some Rita food in the car to be delivered on the way home. Sometimes it takes a little doing to make a work-day work. Heidi helped get me going with all the Christmas/New Years and then Baptism of our Lord thinking. We made some changes to the altar celebrating the coming of the kings. The donkey found the 11-month stable again. Tables were set up in the sanctuary for wrapping the nativities Sunday. I will be pleasantly surprised if all 220 sets are wrapped in one session after church. If it isn't completed, we'll just use another Sunday. Poinsettia were moved to the west entrance with the hope that the sanctuary might have a fresh look for the coming weeks.
A second work morning with the crew is set for Monday January 5th. We may need more mornings to get everything back to where they need to be. When everything is packed and ready the youth once again will form a line passing containers up the stairs to the storage room. It takes a village, you have heard. Yes, it does. The village needs a payment of Chocolate Chip Cookies.
On the way home I stopped at R and B's with the H/GB/P dish sharing a yummy meal. We had such a great visit, laughing and talking. R and I have similar ailments and we just power through together supporting where we can. Sisters with similar health issues.
Then on to another pill stop. They keep coming and I keep taking. Life does bring its interesting spins.
Supper is the H/GB/P dish. Yum, yum and adding a Stanley full of hot candy cane tea created by the Mr. of the house. It's the second Stanley filling of the day, the first being coffee.
So, I would say it's another Tuesday with something to show for it. The rest of the week looks pretty simple with one exception being Friday when I make my monthly IU visit with the shot givers who keep me going. I am so fortunate. I give thanks for them often.
