Wednesday

Days gone by.  A cup plant flower.

The morning started with a bit of knitting but ended shortly there after knowing that I wanted to finish the purple liturgical paraments.  So off to the sewing room.  And with a little bit of effort the Marcia cross was attached.  Done.  Finished. Completed and that project was over after a bit of touch up that I thought it deserved.  Later in the day I visited with cross stitch Marcia showing her the completed project.  I was happy with the outcome, she was happy with the outcome, and all was right with the world.  The goal is to have it hanging in the sacristy at church tomorrow ready for the Lent communion the first Sunday in March. I hope to pick up supplies at Patty's to finish the white stole needed Christmas Eve. So, onward and forward. It's been a challenging but fun project and one filling a request from North's clergy.

The downtime cracks in the day were spent on knitting with another scarf completed and a new one begun.  More Goodwill mothers will receive scarves if I keep the needles clicking.

Messing around in old folders.  Two are in college.  One graduated from high school this Christmas leaving the other two in high school.  Time flies and there is no way to catch it. All taller now than their grandparents.

Doug was out and about during the afternoon hours.  I was happy to be a loner at home.  I spent a little time pushing snow off the patio. Waiting another day for Mother Nature to work her magic wasn't in my plan book.

From another year but this year again, hanging over the balcony.  One of my favorite banners that was brought back to a new life a few years ago in my living room. It was a long fun project.

The evening promises to be a quiet one.  Then tomorrow, another nativity/poinsettia day at church.
