Wednesday
This jade plant was gifted to me from neighbor Kathy on my birthday two years ago. It was one of many succulents in this pot. Now it's the only plant that is taking up most of the room once occupied by many succulents. They are living in other places.
Another midweek day with a surprise visit by the Big Blues. Usually, a Monday holiday will give us a Thursday visit. Well, not today. Doug collected everything yesterday forgetting about the holiday. But when he heard the trucks this morning it was a quick run to the street with the B Blues to meet the B Blues. That got the day going pretty fast
Dreaming again.I spent the morning knitting and listening to the S. Court argument. But before it was finished, I had my to do list that was needed and was on my way to my first stop GFS.on 96th street. I was looking for large containers of yogurt. Greek that is. It is filled with protein which I'm looking for. And I brought home enough for a week or two. This Plain Greek contains almost triple the amount of Protein compared to just simple yogurt.. Protein is on the front burner of choice. I hope it at least slows the weight loss caused by Mounjaro. It should build muscle meaning weight.
Then it was on to the Y for some exercise. Thirty minutes on the treadmill and about 20 on the nu step. With McDonald and Schubert in my ear. Music keeps me going for sure. Strong I must stay. After that exercise there would be a premier protein drink late afternoon.
Next was on to the diabetic doctor to pick up 4 weeks of Monjaro. Blessings on the doctor. I've found a web site that bests my insurance by a lot. The hope is that it's not a scam.
Off to the drugstore to pick up some pills and cancel that Mounjaro order saving 300.00 dollars. Then HOME.
I walked in the house and Doug wanted to be on the way to find some Red Wing Shoes asking if I wanted to go with him. Nope. I was worn out. So, he was on his way and found some. I think this will be the last pair he buys. His last pair lasted more than 7 years and he also has a spare pair.
I watched the birds. They seemed just fine with their new arrangement of feeders. I may have solved some problems. Maybe!
Supper was more leftovers. And the evening was the same as many. Quiet with knitting, TV and one or two naps before bed. I'm sure there will be more basketball.
