Monday

I'm getting a "sign into my google account" sign when wanting to post pictures.  Bad, Bad!  So now pictures tonight.  We'll see how this goes.

Another start to a five-day week.  I know...there really are seven days in the week.  But the five still are sort of alike.  Well, sort of.  It was an early wake up and I just went with it.  Breakfast, Pills, Toothbrushing.  Most of us do a little of each at some point in our lives.

I decided to make a run at finishing the scarf I was working on and that happened.  The basket of scarves went with me to the Y and Living Strong.  Arriving early, I was able to get my mile walk in before we met.  It wasn't going to happen after because of our monthly church gathering for lunch at McAlister's.

When the other ladies arrived bit by bit, everyone picked out a scarf they liked. My goal for the morning was to get over some humps or holes I thought were holding us up and the scarves seemed to do that.  We had a lively visit with a lot of laughs about firemen experiences.  That's all I'll say and you can imagine anything you would like to.  We heard a little bit about each person's cancer experience which was helpful in understanding more about each person.  It wasn't overdone.

At 11:45 Rita and I left to pick up husbands and then off to the second fun thing for the day with church friends at McAlister's. There was a lot of visiting with more funny things shared that brought on a lot of laughing.  The room was full and most folks with only I think one exception there.  That is if I remember correctly.

Then home again and eventually there was a long nap in the chair.  I pulled out some things and made chicken vegetable soup again.  On the way to Aldi's, I stopped at R and B's with a container of soup surprising them with something for supper.  Then it was on to Aldi's where the cart was loaded with a few more things than I had on the list.  The hope is that the next trip can be farther away than I thought with those extras.  I was going to heat soup but we both decided that we just were not hungry. There may be a snack later in the evening.  Mine might be yogurt.

The day was full of good things with conversations that would keep our minds in a good place.  That's a must when the opposite can take one down a dark hole.  Tomorrow will see some work back at the Y with two classes.  The results is yet to be determined.  Balance continues to improve which is such a wonderful gift.  Working on that must continue.

I must add the B Birds received their allotted amount of food for the day this morning and afternoon.

So, the start to the week today was a good one.  My only hope is to stay balanced in more ways than one. Go figure that one out.
