Tuesday

Today was another busy day.  What made it even busier was the fact that I couldn't remember the time for a Y class to meet.  Up until today I have been 15 minutes late.  Today I was off a whole hour.  Dah!

So, after the morning stuff at home, I made an early appearance.  Of course, I filled the hour partly on the Treadmill and partly on the NuStep.  Then it was balance class time with a body that whispered..."what are you doing to me".  I didn't pay much attention to the voice but had a good workout morning times three.  For the fourth time which was scheduled, I sprinted out the door.  Enough was enough.

Home for 15 minutes for lunch and then I dropped Doug off at I U North for his monthly shot. I went on to church for a meeting with Darren and two other folks that are helping somewhat with his move toward a Doctorate Degree.

Then it was back north to pick up Doug at I U North and HOME we came.  But not for long for me. The refrigerator was bare of yogurt and berries and a few more things that I depend on for lunch and breakfast.  The last B Berries yesterday tasted fuzzy and better checking this morning proved to be absolutely true. Aldi's got my attention and I moved on to Kroger's for coffee filters we use keeping both of us happy.  Home again and thank goodness it was supper time with pull out things from the freezer.  There is a church supper tonight.  Thank goodness we are eating at home.  Yes, chicken soup for the soul with cornbread, mostly for Doug. I need to remember to put butter on the table.  A must for Doug!  Today was full of running and the chair is going to feel mighty good tonight whenever I get to it.

I spent a little time with the shovel and hibiscus and liberated the last roots with the hope the bush now can fit once again in that spot.  I call this a reduction in size operation.

I am so grateful for days like today, adding tons of gratitude for energy to keep up with all of the running.  Woo.  My body is whispering...could tomorrow be a little gentler on me?  The answer is...we'll see. Hope springs eternal, you have heard.
