Wednesday

On to Wednesday.  Where has the time gone?  Maybe gone with the wind might be one answer.  I was talking with a friend a few days ago that spend time with family in Nebraska and South Dekota.  There is nothing to stop the wind there and it blows a lot and with furry.

So what is in the news column today?  The alarm went off.  I didn't set it but I did learn to turn it off so it stops ringing every Wednesday no matter what.  I think it was another Jared move not wanting me to forget him.  How could I?  His birthday is Saturday and there has been a lot of fun over the years with that kiddo.

There was breakfast and just quiet for a while.  Then off to the knitting store for more yarn.  The pickings were a bit slim in my basket.  I bought some paint pens for a project coming soon with my Live Strong friends.  Back home again and soon I was on the way to church meeting Heidi and James for a good work day.  Brandon met us and we discussed the coming Sunday's service when the children pack away their alleluias.  This year it will be confirmation kids since they are being confirmed Sunday.  Details were decided on and approved.

Then the three of us H, J and me worked on dressing the altar area since we sort of demolished it last Sunday for an afternoon concert.  We pulled out from storage all the things we needed to get us started with Lent.  The work morning will be Monday.  I've made some phone calls to helpers who will assist us on Monday. It's a simple season with purple the color which is beautiful with our gray stone walls.   Plans need to be finalized for Palm Sunday, Holy Week services and Easter.  We're pretty much ahead of the game with palms needing to be ordered.  I hope to do that tomorrow.  We're losing James and Heidi that day for a month.  A trip to Japan will be their destination.

Back home again around three with time for lunch.  I was hungry.  Knitting with new yarn happened with TV watching.  Then there was supper soup again and the evening blog writing was completed.

Thank goodness the Pacers won their game last night in OVERTIME!.  Tied at the last bell made me so nervous I went to bed and learned about the win today.  Yikes.  They need to do a few more wins before the bell.  No plans tomorrow except Y stuff.  That's enough for sure.
