Wednesday
It would appear that the Easter Bunny has made a visit. Who can pass up jelly beans? Now you know.
Once again another morning that was totally different then most. It was eye doctor day in Noblesville. I was on my way at 9:30 for a 10:30 appointment. It usually takes about an hour to make that trip. This morning I did something different. There are many roads that lead to Noblesville and I took the one less traveled. The trip took much less time wandering through familiar country side I hadn't seen for a very long time. That also got me to Dr. Young's office in record time. So I sat for a while waiting for that 10:30 appointment that really didn't happen till 11.
Who should I meet there when leaving was a dear teacher friend. We usually see each other every month for lunch but the busies have really hindered our meeting Carol steered me to this eye office more than 40 years ago. We have a date in April for our next gathering teacher gathering.
I continued the trip home on another familiar road stopping at Needlers to buy one of their delicious chicken pot pies. Supper is taken care of. There was another drugstore stop for eye meds that will help dry eyes that are really wet eyes. The tear ducts don't work so well. It's something called old age. That's the truth for some folks.
Then home for lunch. As I write I hear the lawn guys are here. Yes, it's Wednesday with the sun today providing a little heat. Mind you...I'm not complaining. A trip to Ace Hardware for a few things made it possible to prepare for a mend job on two sections of fence. It's another pussywillow fence which I love to build and look at. The problem is that they absolutely fall apart after the winter does it's thing..
I also was out and about with my shovel looking for baby violets. They are not on my good list, even though Doug loves them. He just doesn't see what I see in them. It was trash day with full bins and now that they are empty, there is stuff waiting for that space again.
Yup...same old same old. It just keeps coming.Games tonight. I do think one involves Purdue. Should be a fun game. Knitting continues. I'm moving right along. I know where I'm going which makes the process much easier. Well, sort of
