Tuesday

Another mint tea plant is shaping up for a cooling off time on a hot summer day.

Today's walk around proved beyond a doubt that plenty of rain was delivered last night.  All survived but probably could have done with a little less of the grand shower.  The ground received a good patting down and all the transplants said it was a good thing to received after giving up their first place of business. Not today but in the days ahead I'll be getting rid of some Lambs Ear.  Speak up if you want some.  I hope to take some to North's plant swap in May.

A first time for us gifted to us by neighbor Bill and Kathy.  A beautiful white Iris.

Today was designated as weeding day.  A god rain storm makes it so.  And any plant in the wrong place if not relocated to a better place to grow is a weed.  That meant for me clearing the paths of ivy making them wide again and finishing the front of the house with all the little blue flower plant designated as a weed.  Done, over finished for at least a month is my hope.

I found two coral bell plants that were new.  They got a new home and the Hosta plants I found yesterday were relocated.

Now relocated living with new neighbors.

There was a very long lunch hour helping the second go around experiencing sore hips.  I'm beginning to believe this body isn't 65 years old or something like that.  Such a bummer but happy it's at least working.  After more rest, I dug a big hole to hold more jonquil bulbs.  I had 50 to plant.  One group of 25 found their way into the hole. The second spot is too wet today.  Maybe tomorrow.

Neighbors have moved out. This Hosta is a stay at home for now.

I spent some time looking for plants for the Church Plant Swap.  I found10 and potted them.  There is time to see if they perk up before the swap.  That's always a great morning at church with many things being shared.  There are some interesting things in our beds from the swap Sunday.

Chosen for Swap Sunday.  Time will help them settle in for the big Sunday.

Tomorrow is trash day and it seems normal to see all the B Blue Containers at the street.  We've been busy again and it's certain to slow down at some point.  When?  Not sure.

Supper was on the patio with temperatures on the cool side but not too cool.  Watching the birds was the pass time entertainment that we never tire from.  It felt good to sit for a spell or two or three come to think of it. More basketball tonight.  I'm sooooo tired of politics. It's a mess.
