Monday
The morning started with rain. That was good and bad. Bad because I wasn't in the garden. Good because everyone in the garden got a good drink. Not that a lot of drinking hasn't occurred this year. There has been plenty of that so a little bit more after a few dry days off wasn't a bad idea. I must admit that good is winning. Yesterday's garden gave me so many bug bumps. I'm covered even though I was covered with clothes. So maybe the bad stuff has turned into a good reason to avoid the garden today. Bug Bumps that ITCH!!!
I moved all these flowers from the now Dahlia bed to another one, thinking they would not bloom this year. Well, there are more flowers then there ever have been. Happy little posies. Yes...more rain. There was breakfast and coffee with TV. Not French Vanilla or Hazelnut Creamer. Just TV. It was a slow morning but a few things happened. At 10:30 I was off to see the C doctor downtown Indy at the Simon Center. It's an every three month's deal but for what ever reason I was sure the last visit was last month. I guess the visits are memorable. Then I checked the trusty calendar. March 23 was the visit date. So another three months has past. Yikes time flies for sure. But today I saw the PA. I liked her just as much as B Schneider.
Another old fashioned been here a long time flower whose name I've forgotten. It seeds itself! Then it was on to the scheduling of new Dr. Schneider, Pet Scan, and Infusion visits which was a total mess of an experience. But I was determined to finish all of that, leaving nothing to chance or undone. I was ready to climb the wall sitting with what I called a totally incompetent scheduler. One that should have had more training before meeting a patient. After receiving some erroneous information I finally reported her to the head of the department who took over finishing the job. I was P O'd and they knew it. I have lost my filter.
My well behaved little hedge hog always ready to show off.I had a few other things to do but just skipped everything and came on home. Rosie was skipped. That should tell you a whole lot. But on the way I saw a rather bad accident with a little car almost buried in the ditch.. My first thought was someone else had a very bad day. Maybe my day wasn't so very bad. Maybe just bad.
I reported in to Doug and then spent some time on the phone gathering information and making another appointment with Dr. Raju for next week. Yes, life could be better but it's not all bad for sure. I'm feeling blessed with good doctors and answers to questions.
I had a very late lunch and spent some minutes that I could find watching soccer. Argentine won again. They may come out on top when this is all over even though I heard the same thing about the USA team.
The rain kept me in doors although I did make a visit with the Dahlia family. I moved two cups up. I think the plants are big enough to take care of themselves. I'm seeing a lot about Dahlias on Facebook this year. Maybe I'm just paying more attention to that flower currently. I made a run to the drugstore and unloaded the library books at the library, of course. Supper happened and then there was more soccer. I was happy to have the day end after all that was a part of this Monday. Tomorrow should be an "empty" day. There will be plenty to fill it I'm sure. You will get a report.
Blessed be the tie that binds me to all of you who travel this trip of life together. Who ever you may be.
