Friday

Another good night of sleep with a little help from the pill bottle.  One of these days the hope is to pitch the pills where they need to go.  Not yet but one of these days.  There was breakfast and then the monthly trip to I U North to see all my friends who take care of their cancer friends..  They certainly take good care of me.  And I am grateful.  The stay was a bit longer than I had planned.  Every three months there is an additional calcium shot.  And this was the month.

While at the hospital I shared my concern about what seemed something missing from the PT order. The nurses got right on it and yes...there was a glitch that eventually got worked out by the afternoon with a new order for PT, this time from Dr. Jalli. The PT sessions were set up by the afternoon hour. There will be 5 Thursdays with Michael again.  He's a best buddy for sure. It's pretty sad when one knows their PT guy as well as I do. Michael does his best with what he has to work with, meaning me. There was a stop at the drug store for more drugs.  We picked up what I would say are good drugs.  I still have plenty of the bad one that I need. Then my hope continues to be that one of the coming Friday's we can be on our way north to see the kids.  Fingers crossed.

Gina dropped over.  We had a good visit on the patio late morning with the birds singing in the background.  Lunch happened and I spent a little time at the sewing machine.  Just a LITTLE!  I now realize that cutting all the fabric with the cutting wheel for the banners probably set off all the muscle pain.  Now if only I could remember that and plan accordingly.

Doug did the wash again and I was able to do folding.  I hope things are approaching normalization   soon. Maybe that means a new normal. There was the always afternoon snack and of course the zzzzz's while the TV went on and on.  I missed a lot of what has happened which is probably a good thing.

Supper happened and as usually happens, the evening came next.  Same old same old as Jared would say.

  1. It sounds as if you're not aggravating your arm any more. Let's hope that rest will relieve its muscles. Counting that the cause of a Sunday abence will be because you will be in Michigan!
