Friday

Today was a little of this and that.

There was sewing and the next 100 burps were finished.  I plan to deliver another 100 to Ginny Sunday.  I moved on to sewing a few more burps but with no significant number to show for the effort.

The call came that the Honda was finished and Bozo and the grandfather clock got to go back home.  Then we were on to Aldi's for another week or more of groceries.  I always try to do a bit of stretching of food.  At one time they were cheaper.  They still might be but the tab always seems to be higher.  We're not the only ones to experience an up tick in the grocery bill.  Yikes. How high will it go?

The fairy world has moved into the dining room.

There was a walk around the yard and I think I've filled the last B Blue with Dahlia and Canna being the exception. They need a killing frost and it doesn't seem to be coming soon.  It's just terribly dry.

Doug did the wash and folding what needed folding happened.  That says for sure it's Friday.  I am grateful for his washing help.

Supper was another good garden salad coming from someone else's garden.  There was plenty of parsley to add but I forgot.  I did get some tomatoes added from the volunteer just outside the patio door.

I took this picture yesterday.  Today at least half of the leaves have fallen.

We were talking about our Thanksgiving's in Georgia while eating tonight.  I miss the grocery visit coming immediately upon arrival.  What a hoot those were with Rick bringing up the rear.  That was a true gift to all of us. Thanks again and again Rick.

So it was another good Friday.  I call it good if we can just keep up with it.  And we did!
