Monday.

Today started pretty easy.  Then it got really hard and back to easy but with a very tired body!

So pretty in the late afternoon sun.
.

The weather could not have been better.  A perfect fall day with a great warm up with low humidity.  Just a perfect gift for October.  I ran out of yarn last night at the wrong place when knitting a scarf.  I tried some solutions but tore them out.  It just didn't work so that scarf is on the wait list.

Still to get cut.  If I wait till January it will be dry and all over the yard.  Just a big mess.

Then it was ripping time which ended with 60 pieces of fabric ready for the next burp step as you know are the beginning steps of many.  That was an all morning project but at least it's started.

Then came the hard stuff.  With beautiful weather it was time to be in the garden again preparing it for winter.  I finished topping off the two B. Blues and pulled home another B Blue from the neighbor.  It was entirely filled with marigolds and cleome from various places.  All the tall zinnias also were stuffed where there was B Blue room. Four B Blues were really beefy in size.

Two marigold plants I missed this afternoon.  I bumped into them this evening.

The garden looks pretty sparce now in many places with fewer flowers but not entirely nude.  There is more to remove but the containers are full and the energy bucket is entirely empty.  That's a good reason to find the chair which I did.  Last night was one of those ^&$#U) nights again so the chair with a sleeping gardener was a good combination.

The entire week seems to hold sweet fall weather so after the B Blue trucks arrive Wednesday, I'll be out and about again.  All of today's contributions were dug out eliminating  stumbling over dead stalks in the spring.  I hate that trap.

Two more containers in the garage.  A new record if you are keeping score.  I'm not.

Tonight for supper there is a new oven dish.  If all doesn't go well I think I can make soup out of the left overs.  The years of working at Bread and Bowl taught me a whole lot about creating a new dish with left over items from church dinners. B and B is easier these days with our new procedure.  I say we don't cook.  We mostly warm up food that comes from Second Helpings. PS...the new try was delicious.

Football was really interesting yesterday. You have got to love those Packers. Then there was the Colts loss which wasn't very interesting.  Tonight there will be more to see.  That is until I tell myself it's time for bed.  That happens on a regular basis.  Sweet Dreams to me.  I need them!
