Saturday
I call this a pretty tame day. Not much happened but one thing that did happen was pretty important.
First...
I finished another 100 burps and will take 200 to Ginny tomorrow. Another 48 burps are in the box waiting for the next 52 burps to come along at some point. I'm in no hurry to make that happen since November which is tomorrow is pretty full of other things needing attention. Some things really needing a lot of attention. The 200 burps are in the car with a pretty sure feeling they will get to church tomorrow. Doug usually asks at the church door...anything to carry in. Tomorrow I'll say yes.
There was a little football to fill in the cracks of free time while I was snipping fabric. I thought of Ginger Snap cookie making. But I'm still thinking and the day is almost gone. Oops...on today.
I worked on more Advent bows beginning to think seriously about Advent. And then here comes the important part! I sat at the computer with my brain turned on and wrote down what needed to happen at every place we decorate which is the whole first floor of the church. I counted six different areas. This is such a great help for me and those who volunteer their help. Having something on paper helps me keep my wits in tact. There is always a busy happy rumbling noise with everyone ready to pitch in. I hate to make people wait when they are giving their time so organizing is important to me. So, 95% of the decisions are made. I always am not surprised when changes are suggested. They usually are better than what I had decided to do. November 8th the youth will move most of the nativities that are in drawers from the attic to the first floor. The attic feels like its almost to the moon with lots of steps. Heidi and I will do some organizing for November 22 after the first and second service when the parishioners will empty the drawers placing nativities everywhere on the first level. This year again we will have some designated weekdays for open house in December.
Fall continues to happen. I'm ready for a frost. The seasonal allergies are upon me big time. Usually Halloween is cold, maybe rainy and usually does not ever come with weather as we are having this year. Tomorrow we're back to standard time. Woo. Maybe it will be lighter in the morning. I'm always confused. yes...fall back.
