 Another new beginning.  I'll take it any day and today it happened again.  It's wonderful to have another chance at living another day.

After Doug's breakfast which I think is late and he thinks is early...we were on our way to church to look for the elusive purse once again.  And we looked and looked and decided it was gone wishing we knew how and where.  The banner closet door needed to be locked so I thought to look one more time in that storage closet..  Well, there it was, just where I left it but didn't have a clue about it's location.  I hid it so well that I just couldn't find it under a bunch of black plastic B and Bowl bags.  Dah. The lost had been found and I felt like a tired slippery noodle realizing what was lost was no longer lost.  My solution is to take a picture of where I will hide it in the future among other options that should work better then just plain old forgetting.  

In the meantime while hunting, the choir was rehearsing for tomorrows service.  There is an annual dozy and tomorrow it happens.  Orchestra, Sr. Choir, Children's choir, and handbells, message and turning in our pledges for 2027.  It will be glorious.

Back home happened.  I made a trip to H H to search for options for decorating the Altar in the Chapel.  I made some decisions but will buy later.

I stopped at good friend Carol's house with flowers.  She has had an unbelievable number of health events.  Hip surgery, a fall resulting with a broken femur, nerve damage and now a dropped foot resulting from the nerve damage.  I taught with Carol years ago.  Our kids are about the same ages.  She will be home bond for quite a while currently unable to do anything but sit in her wheel chair.

There was a brief stop at Aldi's for a few things.  I left Doug at home and the bill was a bit smaller.  Food should take us to the end of next week.

There was a lot of football with I U beating Michigan.  It was a tense game with a lot of great action.      I U plays Minn. next Saturday. I watched the Minn. Iowa game with Minn. winning 

So the day was a winner in so many ways.  If I can remember where my head is among other things it should continue.  If that doesn't happen I'll try not to make it a personal thing although it feels like it.  

Like Frozen...Let it go, let it go, let it go.  I'll need to work on that.

 Another busy day with all day church.  It was worthwhile. Of course it started with some sewing machine stuff.  There are 50 new burps in the bin.  Yesterday I unloaded another 100 on to Ginny's porch.  So, we're well on the way to another 100.  This next one hundred will make a total of 500 this fall if my head is screwed on right.  Sometimes there are leaks.  Ginny gave me permission to slow down for a while.  I'll let that happen at the end of 500 needing that last bed sheet to reach that number.   Then off to church for another good day with church folks.  Remember your Baptism was the theme for the morning and all went well.                                                                            ...

 A good day with the usual stuff happening.  That's good enough for me.  I was up a little early with breakfast and a little TV but not much.  Spectrum was at it again.  Come on TV.                  Feverfew in it's second bloom.  I think it's a medicinal herb. Don't know for what.     I decided to work on the last 30 burps.  So that's what I did with the hope of getting them finished and on their way to Ginny at church.  Well, that didn't happen.  I ran out of time with only the last sewing to do on all 30.  They made it to the finish line in the afternoon. This is the third 100 in three weeks.  I think that's a new record.  I'm taking a break for a few days.  The nurses should have enough to keep them burp busy for a while.  I delivered the floor blankets so there will be something new for new born babies.         ...

                                                  Dahlias still showing their best side. I see some tired leaves. The morning was all about burps.  There were seventy to work on.  The next thirty needed a sheet for backing.  So the machine did the first sew around and then the scissors did the trimming.  The fabric scraps were deposited in the recycling bin.  Turning the right side to the outside was the next thing that needed to happen. I declared a break time.  But after the break...all seventy were turned ready for the iron.  Then more sewing and folding.  Woo...finishing is on the way.                Volunteer Cherry Tomatoes available for the picking.  I'm over tomatoes for this year.                ...
