Wednesday

It's another all day Wednesday.  There have been many. HOW fortunate for me.  Last night was a wonderful night of sleep.  I'm enjoying a rested Wednesday.  Maybe I should walk oftener at church to get really tired spaghetti legs.

I knitted for a while and then decided it was Goodwill shopping time for flannel sheets.  The cupboard was bare.  So off to the Goodwill at Castleton.  I flunked out.  Not one sheet even close to flannel.  I usually can find at least one.  So the car turned west and I ended up on Michigan road just south of 86th street way on the other side of Indy.  I found two flannels and one blue and green plaid sheet that would support the dull plain boring green flannel sheet.  The other pretty flowered flannel will be matched with a sheet I already have.

30 will get me to another 100 burps.  There is more than enough fabric to spill over to the next 100.

There was a lot of driving in the clown car I named Bozo.  The turning signal sounds like a big grandfather clock. Yikes.

A Hondi...Korean Car.  It looks big but about half the size of the Odyssey. But big enough for me.                                              Probably not for Doug.  I'm the principal driver!

Home for lunch and after getting the washer filled with the morning take it was time for Walgreens and a medicine pickup as well as the Covid and Flu shot along with more Halloween candy.  Mainly for DOUG.  I expected a F and C shot line but we walked in and 20 min. later we walked out taken care of.  No wait at all.  I'm happy to check that off the to do list.  I'm a vaccine believer.  It saddens me to hear about the outbreak of Measles.  I remember so well being in second grade when our room was devastated for days with Measles, Mumps and more. The blind school here in Indy was built to educate blind children a result of  Measles.  We needed to recuperate in dark rooms in those days.

The dryer got a work out doing a great number on the morning purchases. Some of the new purchases got to the ripping table.  It's always interesting to see how many burps are hidden in the sheets depending on the sizes.

Mid afternoon there was a move to the kitchen to make beef veg. soup with barley for supper.  There is enough for tomorrow and maybe Friday.  I'm calling Carol to see if she needs another delivery tomorrow.  There will be croutons by then.  That makes Doug very happy.

Tomorrow is another morning PT session and an early afternoon WNBA game.  It could be the last if LA wins. I'm predicting they will.
