Friday
And then there was another Friday. That was today if I remember correctly. I did a little sewing of some burps that were waiting for the last go around from yesterday's work. Then Doug and I were off to see a new doctor for Doug. It was a good visit and we have solutions to work on. I'm sure they will be successful. And then I noticed something...Where was my purse. Dang. It happened again but this time I forgot it at home. Dah. With so much extra walking at the hospital looking, I decided the treadmill work at the Y wasn't necessary today. My brain is wearing out. I was the driver this morning and the car started because Doug had a fob in his pocket. My fob had stayed in my purse in the kitchen. Crazy, isn't it. I'm driving myself nuts at a pretty fast pace. I wonder how many nuts I have left. Did I start with nine? Can't remember!
Then back home on the ranch for the rest of the day. There was more burp sewing. Then some Christmas sewing that includes some creativity. My kind of thing. I did more ripping of Galloway flannel sheets and Mamlin common ordinary sheets for more burps. I'm getting ready for the next sewing marathon that's on the horizon.
Beth texted with some projects she wanted sewn for Christmas gifts for her girls. I'll visit her tomorrow to see what she is thinking about. She has such great gift ideas for her family that I get to help with. Fun, fun.
TV was interesting. Naps were more interesting. I texted Jared for some Christmas answers. It's time for secrets.
Laurel added two more angels to our Bruster nativity set, Bless her heart. It's a wonderful set and getting even better. The three kings are a hoot!
I love her feet wrapped with ribbons. A very whimsical nativity set. Look it up.
Supper was warmed over veg. chicken soup again, this time with corn bread. The soup gets better by the day. Yum, yum. We haven't had corn bread in a long time.
Although there is one more day in this week I can say right now, it's been a very good week. Not bad at all in the least. A lot of things were accomplished that will bring back good memories.
And Leslie...Yes...I'll make a mushroom top for your friend. She can add the stick. It's easier to mail with no stick. Upper sticks work just as well as Indy sticks. A dab of 6000 will hold everything together. You taught me that.
