Sunday
It was a very good day. Humm. Who sang that? Perry Como or someone like that. I'm not sure. But it was a very good day.
A great sleep and the time change brought a sunny earlier morning but a very dark early evening. Bummer. I would like both of those to be light. I guess I need to move somewhere else. Would that work. Equator...light at 6 am. dark at 6 pm. I think that's right.
All Saints Sunday was celebrated with great music, sermon, communion and candles. Another special Sunday at North. The congregation swells on Sundays like these. A full feeling feels like old times before covid. We are not necessarily a neighborhood church. Not all but many folks come from a far.
There were seven stations like this where people could light a candle remembering saints in their lives no longer with us.Then home for lunch and a start on football watching which I felt was played like a lame duck. Not very impressive so I was off to Goodwill's looking for flannel sheets. And I found three. How lucky could I get. And the price was pretty good. I left one flannel labeled 10.00 for a King. Just not worth it.
Since today was the first Sunday of the month the afternoon came to a close with another zoom family call. It's always fun to visit through zoom when it's over and one can sleep in my good old bed tonight. But I miss the Georgia visit. It's special. We're just old now...or saying older sounds better.
Tomorrow is another busy morning with cleaning up church after today and setting up for next Sunday. Then the rest of the week is mine to do until the last PT Thursday. I hope I am graduated. We'll see. Perhaps I should do a bit of studing for the final. That would mean exercising
